Sledding

Today we went sledding with our friends and their children. This was Izabella's first time playing in the snow. She wasnt to sure about it at first but then when she realized that it was fun and it helped her gums, she then loved it.
Little nathan got hurt a few times but nothing that he couldnt handle and thought it was cool to go down on a sled backwards and over a big bump... This was the best time we have had in a very long time as a family and it was well needed.

6 years ago today!!

Wow where do I begin? Well lets begin from the beginning. Almost thirteen years ago I was at a fair with my friends, when we all went on a Feris wheel and Nathan turned and looked at me and said "what do you think about us going out"? I then looked at him and said I guess we can date. I never seen myself being with him for a few months or even a year, we were both only 16 at the time. Then 4 and half yrs later we are on a cruise with his family and their friends for christmas, when nathan got on his knees and proposed to me in front of everyone on the ship. Of course I had accepted his proposal and couldnt wait to get of the ship to tell all of our family and friends back in michigan that we were engaged, needless to say everyone knew but my papa.

Six years ago today I married not only my highschool sweetheart but also my best friend. I was walked down the asle by my mom and papa as the song "from this moment" played and our wedding song was "when you say nothing at all". Some people tried to ruin my day/ night but it didnt work, I had my family and friends there that really cared about me and my day. Then my sister open her speech as the maid of Honor, "lets get this party started".

In our whole relationship we have had a lot of ups and downs, but that is what makes your relationship stronger, right? The past 6 years we have been through alot together, with losing pregnancies, a rough pregnancy with Izabella and nate's layoffs. But all these situations have only made our marriage stronger, especially after nate's first layoff. I believe it was god's way of saying you guys need to stop relying on your family and friends support and start relying on each other and you need to communicate with each other better, so that your mariage will be a lifetime marriage, because when nate lost his first job we had to move out of the state to arizona. As much as I hated it and still sometimes hate it. I thank god for it because when we hit hard times with each other, we support each other and communicate better now with each other on issues then we did back in michigan. In michigan we (mainly me) would not tell each other how we felt about a situation, but instead we would tell our friends or my mom.

Nathan I love you more today then I did 13 years ago and love you more and more each day. I believe in my heart that our marriage will be a lifetime marriage.

Five

So today on January 23,2005, I gave my brother the best birthday gift EVER, I gave him a nephew on his birthday, him and little man are exactly 18yrs apart. We also gave both of our parents and our moms' family the first grandchild, great grandchild and great nephew. I got to the hospital at 5am on Sunday morning. At 630am we called our parents and my siblings to let them know that they were going to break my water in one hour. Nathan, grandma, gmama, Aunt Kikki, and Uncle jeffrey were the ones up at the hospital when you were born. Everyone was in the room except for uncle jeffrey, he was in the waiting room during the delivery part. Aunt Kikki and Grandma were feeding mommy ice chips, while Gmama and daddy were comforting me through the contractions. At 8am the doctor broke my water and soon after that I demanded drugs. At 10am I was completely dilated and 1030am was when the fun of pushing you out came, because mommy was sick, everytime I would push, I would have to cough and you would go back up in the birth canal. 11:09am Sunday morning you were born weighing in at 6lbs 11 ounces 19.5 inches long and you were a perfect 10. You did have a name while you were in my stomach and it was Travor, but when the doctors put you in my arms, I looked at daddy and said he doesnt look like a Travor, so you did not have a name for a couple of hours and then we decided to name you Nathan Xavier Trombley. Nathan after daddy and Xavier after great papa.
Because mommy worked for the hospital and also because I wasnt feeling good. The doctors waited to circumsize you late monday, so that mommy could stay an extra day to rest in the hospital with you. So we were both discharged from the hospital tuesday afternoon.

On the way home from the hospital, daddy got pulled over for speeding, but the police officer let us go with a warrening and we had to get our windshield fixed within ten days, daddy was lucky because he was going 15 over the speed limit, so it should of been a huge ticket.

A few hours after nathan turned 5 yrs old. Were does the time go, it seems like just yesterday I was holding him in my arms and he depending on me for EVERYTHING, and come monday morning I will be going to the elementry school to register him for K for this fall. :( My baby is growing up and I DONT LIKE IT AT ALL.

Five years ago this week, nate and I were getting excited and scared at the same time of becoming new parents to our first child, nathan(or at the time his time was Trevor). We were living between my mom's house and nate's mom's house, considering they were closer to the hospital than we were.I went to the doctors today five years ago and I was dilated to 3, the doctor asked if I wanted to have this baby by the end of the weekend, not believing him I said YES PLEASE, I am done. So he did his thing and sent me home. The rest of the story will be added later. But what im getting at is it seems just yesterday I was at the doctors and we were preparing last minute things for our new little baby boy and then two days ago, nathan got excited because he learned how to blow bubbles with bubble gum. Then today he was able to cross the monkey bars without any help. Where does all the time go, you are holding them one minute and they depend on you for everything and the next minute they are independent and blowing bubbles with bubble gum and crossing the monkeybars.. All you new first time parents charish every moment with your little one, because before you know it they will not need u (well at least they, themselves think) anymore and they will be blowing bubbles and such..

Why Are People So Stupid

This morning I got a phone call from my mom saying that my cousin was in a bad motorcycle accident in florida, and is in an induced coma.. His pelvic bone is broken and his brain is swollen.. This could of all been prevented by not DRINKING AND DRIVING and wearing a helmet.. This isnt his only time having bad experience with drinking either.. So why didnt he learn his lesson from the last experience. We are all praying that he comes out of it okay and that maybe he has learned his lesson... He has a lot to live for, he has a son who needs him and he owns his own business.. So if anyone reads this please pray for him.. And if you ever think to get into a car after you or someone else has been drinking please think before you or that person turns the vehicle on..

Izabella June Update

Well its been almost a yr now since my baby girl has been born. She will be turning one on the 26th of June. Man oh man, where does the time go? I can remember the day that I found out I was pregnant with her like it was yesterday. I was actually going in for some tests to see what was causing my miscarriages, and when the tech did the ultra sound, she looked at me and asked is it possible you could be pregnant? I responded, it is possible, but i dont think i am. The doctor confirmed it with blood work, and I was instructed a week later that if I wanted this baby to survive, that I would have to go on heprin and baby asprin (blood thinner), I told the doctor that I refuse to go on any drugs that could have an effect on my baby. So after leaving the doctors office I prayed and prayed, god please guide me in making the right medical decission. When I got home I told Nate that I was diagnosed with a blood clot disorder and the doctor said if we want this baby to stay, we would have to go on heprin and baby asprin. His exact words were "HELL NO", So nate and I did our research on what we could do instead of heprin and asprin, and found out the stuff that we all have been taking, called Juice Plus, is something that can help in my situation, plus if i increased my green vegetables and fruits that would help to. So that is exactly what I did. Then our little princesses decided that she wanted to come early at 28weeks. So I was in and out of the hospital from 28weeks on, on bedrest off bedrest, then on STRICT bedrest until 37.5 weeks, and we had her at 38weeks weigh in at 7pounds 1.5 ounces 18"long.
So we went from them telling me if I dont take drugs that my baby would never make it, to a baby that started completely walking on May 24th to cutting 4 teeth on june 3.
You see doctors are so in a hurry to prescribe drugs and such, that if people do their research alot of illnesses and cancers can be prevented if you eat the color of the rainbow every day a serving of 7-13 of each fruits and veggies.
