This was the best christmas in a long time!!!

This christmas was so nice. Seeing all the cousins together and planning was one of the best parts about this christmas. The other best part was seeing the look on my papa and grandma's face seen us and then me telling them that we arent going back to arizona that we live here now, it was priceless....I love being back home and knowing that we wont miss anymore things puts a smile on my face everyday.

We made it!!!

Well it was a long and tiring trip but we made it finally. The kids and dogs where GREAT and good troopers. On our way we stopped at a few places and the kids enjoyed that. Nathan did good with his ear infection. Izabella and I played truck coloring game and who can find the most water towers. She didnt start trying to get out of her carseat and becoming crabby until like the last 6 to 10 hours of the trip. We are glad that the trip is done and over with.

Just what we need before heading out!

Last night Cheryk and James took the kids for the night so that we could pack up the truck and get ready to head out. Well I got a phone call from cheryk saying that nathan was complaining that his ear hurt and that she was giving him motrin for pain, but he isnt crabby and doesnt want to come home. I told cheryk its up to her and that I trust her judgement, so she said they want to keep the kids as planned. This morning I got a phone call from cheryk saying nathan's ear is now draining fluid but he is doing good. When they brought my babies home I took nathan up to urgent care because I wanted him to get checked out before heading out in the morning. The doctor had said that he had an ear infection and the worse is over now because the pressure had popped, just to give him antibodiacs and if needed motrin.

We are coming home

Well we are moving back home and I am so excited, I just hope that we are making the right decision and we arent doing this because I really want to be back home. But I keep looking at all the signs and I truely believe that god is having us go back home. This was a fun and great experience for us as individuals but also as a family and I would never wish to turn the clocks back and do things over again. Moving out to arizona was the best thing on us, we mate some wonderful people that became our family, are marriage grew stronger and our family grew stronger as a whole. If plans go right we will be leaving for michigan on the 13th of december and hopefully get there in time for christmas.

Nathan lost his Job

Today nathan was told as of November 19th he will no longer have a job with pulte homes, and there is no chance that there will be a call back this time around, and you know I have a good feeling about this layoff, the other two I was sooo upset(even though it worked out) but this time I am at ease. Maybe its because he also got a phone call from a friend in Michigan saying that his company is hiring and they want to interview nathan. We shall see.

Nathan's 1st day of Kindergarden

Today was nathan's first day of Kindergarden and man let me tell you he was tired beforehand and afterwards. He doesnt like his teacher, but that is not her fault its mine and Am's. Because we werent here to meet the teacher, I didnt know that he was to bring a water bottle to drink throughout the day and also to bring a snack. My friend amber forgot to tell me that info, so he wasnt happy today and didnt like his teacher but understands now and will hopefully like her tomorrow. I did okay a little teary eye, but okay.
I kept myself busy with going out to breakfest with Am and then going supply shopping for Nathan and I for school, then to my school to pick up my books, then come home and dusted and vaccummed the house.

Back home to Arizona

Today we flew home and because I was in michigan for so long it felt like I was leaving my family all over again for the first time. It was hard and it made it especially harder because Xavier kept asking over and over why cant we just live here so that I can see my aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents all the time. He kept saying how he hates arizona because he doesnt see anyone and he wants daddy to be able to find a job in michigan so we can move back home. So I finally told him that he needs to pray to God and if God thinks its our time to go back home to michigan then something will come along but until its time we have to just pray and let god handle it.
This flight was much better than the flight going to Michigan, everything went smoothly and no problems.

Camping in Cheboygan Michigan

August 4th to August 8th, we went camping up in cheboygan michigan at Brit's family's up north home. It was very very nice and the first time that nate and I actually enjoyed being in michigan together. You see usually after Nate arrives in michigan we are just running around the whole time seeing people and visiting people but this time we did what we wanted to do and that was to go to michigan and have a family vacation of being up north camping and having fun, so that is what we did.
The kids really liked being up there. We did a lot of four wheeling, riding the lawn mower, went to a place called the mystery spot, went to mackinaw city and did site seeing, tried to do a little swimming under the Mackinaw bridge.
Our last night there nathan and jeffrey were making hamburgars over the fire when jeffrey dumped all of them in the fire, so Brit, Nikki, and I had to go to town to get more.
I dont remember having this much fun with my family in a long time and it was well needed for all of us.

Izabella's 2nd Bday in Michigan

Big Nathan arrived in Michigan on the 29th and we went to have some walley one night with my family and the other nights before Izabella's 2 bday party we hung out with family and friends.
Today, August 1, 2010 we celebrated Izabella's 2 bday with close family and friends. It turned out really really nice and people actually listened this time and didnt get anything to big that couldnt be flown back to Arizona.
Her Bday cake was made by Nancy(jill's mom) and it was really good and pretty.

Port Austin

This weekend Carrie was nice enough to allow us to stay up at her summer home in Port Austin. It was so nice and beautiful. The kids got to play in Lake Huron in the waves and thought it was cool. Nathan thought it was cool to help build a fire to make dinner.
I wish Nathan were here to had enjoyed this camping trip.

Amy's wedding

Today was my friend amy's wedding and my two along with my niece Lilly were in the wedding. Just let me tell you this was an adventure for all of us. Nathan did good but the girls not so well. I believe the pictures amy has of them, they are crying and such and then when it was the whole bridal party picture time the girls were either not in it or they were but crying.
At the reception they were all good. Nathan and the other ring bearer were tearing up the dance floor. They reminded me how my brother and Robert use to be like at our church group functions. Nathan did not pass out until 1130pm on the dance floor that night and the girls went home with my aunt, which was nice cause my sister and I could enjoy the rest of the night without worrying about the girls.
When my sister, nathan, and I got home that night, nathan woke up as we were getting his PJ's on and it was funny for like the next two hours, all three of us got slap happy and could not stop laughing. Nathan and my sister were saying some of the funniest things.

Stoney Creek Fireworks

Today was a nice day and a nice evening. We started the day off by going to a BBQ at family friends' house. Seen alot of people I havent seen in awhile.
In the evening my family and I mate up with Nate's family for the fireworks at stoney creek along with friends of the families. We had a potluck for dinner and let me tell you there was a lot of food.
The girls werent sure of the fireworks and lilly and Izzy were both scared of them at first. Izabella jumped out of my arms into her uncle justin's arms and remained there for the remaineder of the time, except for the last 10 minutes or so she went to his girlfriend.
I wish big Nathan could be here with us to enjoy the fun with us.

Flight to Michigan

Today the kids and I finally got to Michigan after a 2 hour delay for some reason. So that ment our 2.5 hour layover went to just enough time to get on the people mover to get to the next gate and go to the bathroom. We were suppose to leave june 29th at 1130pm and didnt leave until close to 2am on june 30th. I have been up since yesterday at 5am when we arrived in Flint.
This was the worst flight I have ever had with the kids. Nathan lost one of our carry-ons, but it was found so that is a good thing, just in time before they took it to the shredder, yup I said the shredder. Now way would a terriost leave their info on the suitcase if they were going to do something, also he left it at the gate of our connected flight which means it already went through security.
The kids did good, it was me that was tired, irritated and hungry. When we got off the plane and my mom and aunt had the kids I let the tears come out that I was holding in.

Little Princess is 2 yrs old today

June 26, 2008 was a Thursday. We got to the hospital on Wednesday at 10am and they were going to send me home because my cervix was not progressing, but I refused and told them to call my doctor because I am done coming here 1-2x a week to be sent home and we are in the safe zone so need to stop the contractions. My doctor admitted me and was suppose to induce me at 4pm, then it got changed to 11pm and finally they started the Pitocin 5am Thursday morning and broke my water at 530pm. Started to push at 6pm and Izabella Nicole Trombley entered into this world weighing 7lbs. 1.8ounces, 18"inches long at 620pm.
Nathan is the one that delivered her with my doctor standing next to him to assist him if need be, but Nathan did it all on his own. He pulled her out and cut the umbilical cord, and put her in my arms.
Two years later Izabella spent her 2 yr birthday in the morning with her daddy at Build A Bear, which daddy said all she cared about was the clothes and shoes there and she was trying to put them on herself.
Together they built a Princess Kitty, gave it 2 hearts and it sings Happy Birthday to her. As I am writing this she is napping with her new kitty that she built with her daddy and even though daddy cant see it, I can and I believe she enjoyed this morning with her daddy, because if she didn't she wouldn't had picked at the kitty that she wanted and she wouldn't be sleeping with it right now.
We ended Izabella's 2 Birthday with our Arizona family at NYPD, where we had pizza and the kids had ice cream sundaes.

Izabella's first hair cut/2yrs ago continue

Today I took Izabella to get her first haircut. I wanted to cry as Carrie was doing it because it was making her look like a big girl and not a baby anymore. Carrie did such an awsome job and I love the new cut, but I dont like that my baby girl is growing up so quickly. Just to think two years ago today was June 25th, the day I ended up in the hospital for the last time. My doctor finally decided to keep me and induce because I was having contractions and they were strong but I wasnt dialating but when the nurse said that they were going to send me home, I refused and told her I am done and I am not going home until I have this baby, so she called my doctor and he admitted me. I was suppose to get induced at 4pm and then it got to move to 11pm and finally I got induced on the 26th of june at 5am. The doctor was trying to see if my my cervics would dialate on its own but nope.
Let me tell you if something ever happened where the baby machine started to work again on its own I will NEVER EVER get induced again, it was worse than going into labor on my own.
But back to the hair cut experience. Amazingly Izabella did great and sat still while Carrie was cutting her hair.

Two years ago from yesterday

As many of you know, I started to go into premature labor with Izabella at 28 weeks and was in and out of the hospital from 28 weeks to 38weeks. I was in the hospital at least once to twice a week until I had her at 38weeks.
Well Two weeks ago from yesterday I hit 38weeks and ended up in the hospital with contractions. This contractions where strong but I wasn't dilating, so after being there for hours walking around the hospital to try to get the process going, they sent me home.
Today 2yrs ago I had a doctors appointment with my OB/gyn and he asked how I was feeling. My reply was. I AM DONE, cant you just induce me now that I'm 38weeks. His reply was no unless there is something wrong and just as he said that the nurse come in and said that I had protein in my urine. So my doctor said well this is a call to be induced. But first we have to do a 24hour catch. So we went home and started the 24hour catch and the rest of the story will continue tomorrow.

Outting with the kids

There arent many days that the kids are nice to each other and actually listen. But today I had such a wonderful day with both of the kids. There were no fighting, which is unusual but nice.
We started our morning with breakfest then went to the gym where we met our friends. After us moms were done working out, we went out to lunch to Chili's, which again all of the kids were amazing. We then decided to take all of the kids to the Surprise pool to go swimming.
While we were at the pool Nathan decided to sneak(well mommy knew about it)on the waterslide. He did good for not having a lifejacket.
It isnt very deep and he can doggy paddle, he was just about an inch two short, so that is why he had to sneak on it.
At the end of the day, all the kids were tired and slept very well.
Amber(a really good friend of ours) watched Xavier and Izabella, so that Nathan and I could have a date night, which was a very well needed date night. I was able to get my Husband to go see Letters to Juliet. It was a good movie and even though he wont admit it I think he liked it to, because there where a few times that I heard him laugh.
This was the best day I have had in a very Long time.

One on One Time

Yesterday Nathan and Xavier left to go camping. This was Xavier's first camping trip. He was sooo excited to go camping with just him and his daddy. They went fishing and camping in the lake of the Foothills. They left Saturday and was suppose to return sometime today in the late afternoon. Well that changed after Nathan seen a big rattlesnake that had slithered by him (about 10ft away). He decided after that to pack up and go home.
Izabella and I enjoyed our one on one time. We went to DQ and to the park. Then we came home and camped out on the couch watching Grey's Anatomy( Im sure this wasnt what Izzy wanted to watch but it was her bed time, so mommy got to pick).
After the boys got home we decided to go to Subway and get their $5 footlongs and go have a dinner picnic up at the Surprise park, where the kids could play and fish.
All in all this was a very nice weekend and I believe both kids enjoyed having the one on one with each of us.

Caramel Apple Dip

Okay so Nathan and I dont give our kids much treats with sugar or caffine in it, unless it is for a special occasion. Well lately little man has been VERY VERY HYPER and NOT LISTENING and we were like whats going on? So this morning Izabella comes out of Xavier's room with the lid to the caramel apple dip, so I walked into his room asked him what this was and where the bottom of it was. His reply: Its up in my closet and the doggie did it. My response: So the doggie went into the fridge pulled out the container, went into your room and put it on the top shelf of your closet? Xavier's response: Yes. I had to walk out of his room and call Nathan because I wanted to laugh because he said it as if he did really happened. Man kids what to do with them?

Sleepless nights.

For the past month or so, we have not gotten any sleep and it feels like we have a newborn all over again. She is waking up in the middle of the night and early early morning. At first we thought it is because the sun wakes up here early, but nope, its her teeth coming in. Man she is nothing like Xavier was when he was cutting teeth. During the day the teething tablets work but at night she needs something stronger.
It wasnt until today when I found out that NOT all tyenol and motrin were recalled and that it was just name brand ones, so lets just say mommy is going to go buy some today and dope the little princess up tonight with motrin, so hopefully we can all get some sleep tonight.

No more Pull-ups

So right before I went on strict bedrest with Izabella, nathan was not wearing pull-ups during naptime and sometimes not at night either. He would only have a few accidents here and there but nothing major. But when I was put on strict bedrest while being pregnant with Izabella, I started to put him in pull-ups while Nathan was at work, this way if xavier had an accident I wouldnt have a mess to clean up while being on bedrest. After doing this, I did regret it because then it went back to him having to wear a pull-up at naptime and bedtime all the time.
Well 2years later we are running low on pull-ups and I said to myself I dont want to buy these expensive things anymore, especially when we have to buy diapers for Izabella. So I told xavier that he only has a few pull-ups left and then no more pull-ups after that. He looked at me and said mommy you have been saying that and I still have them. I had to laugh because he was right, so I looked at him and said well guess what? These are your last ones and if u want more u will have to buy them yourself. But mommy I have no money. My reply, well then I guess u need to start going to the bathroom at night and stop drinking after a certain time and if u dont u will have to do laundry in the morning to. Xavier: Oh fine I wont wear them anymore, besides I start Kindergarten this yr and big boys dont were pull-ups.
So needless to say we have gone three nights without wearing pull-ups and knock on wood No accidents.

First time at the Library with my babies....

Today I decided since the lovely princess was up bright and early, I would get some cleaning done around the house and then take the kids to the Surprise park before it got to warm to be outside. The kids enjoyed being there and playing. The city had added some new things to the park, so nathan was especially excited.
We tried to feed the ducks and birds but they didnt seem to be hungary.
Nathan has been asking to go to the library FOREVER and have not yet taken him until today. The Surprise Library is basically in the same parking lot as the park, so when it started to get hot, I asked nathan if he wanted to go to the library today and of course his response was YES... :)
I wasnt sure how this advanture would go with Izabella being with us, but it went pleasently good. She was quiet in the library and she stood by us as we were looking for books, she even picked out some books herself.
Both kids enjoyed being able to play learning games on the computers and meeting some new friends.
We ended up checking out sixteen books and so far read 6 of them. The kids signed up for the Summer reading program so after we read so many hours they get a prize.
My goal is to at least take the kids to the library at least once to twice a week.

6 yrs ago this week

Six years ago this week and six yrs ago last week, was one of the toughest weeks for me. I was working a lot of hours and not feeling good at all. My Uncle Joe was dying from Leukemia, so I was pretty much staying with my aunt to help care for him, which let me say I would never take these weeks back for nothing. Even though I was not feeling good and working a lot and not really seeing my husband, I enjoyed being with my uncle on his last few days. I got to know him and hear stories about him from my aunt or when he wasnt out of it and could talk from him. Besides my aunt I was the only one that could see him without a hat and help him to the bathroom. I believe it was my aunt at one point that asked How are you able to see him without his hat but noone else can. My reply I believe was: I told him that I have magic eyes and when he doesnt have his hat on I still see it as if it were on. Of course he didnt believe me but it did help him open up around me and feel comfortable with me being around.
On this exact day May 25th 2004, was one of the saddest but happiest days of my life. It was sad because I seen my aunt in pain from just losing her husband to the battle of Leukemia in the am of this morning. But I was happy because my uncle wasnt suffering anymore and knew that he had gone home to god. I was also happy and excited on this day because you see I went to the doctor that morning to, to see why I havent been feeling good, and come to find out I was pregnant with Nathan. Even though I was happy and excited for mine and Nate's good news, I also felt guilty after getting back to my aunts house and just finding out that my uncle had passed away shortly after I had left for my appointment.
I didnt tell anyone but nate that we were pregnant for two reasons. One we had had a miscarriage a few months before and wanted to wait until we got to the safe zone but two because my aunt had just lost a husband and a best friend and I didnt want to show my happiness to her. I do think I ended up telling her to because I wanted her to know that even though uncle joe has gone home to god, god has sent as a new angel into our lives and he will be here in like nine months.

Outting with the family

Today was the first time in a very very long time that we actually really enjoyed our family day together. Izabella was wonderful and the kids didn't fight one time. They both had good listening ears.
Today we decided to take the kids to the Sea life aquarium in Tempe arizona, and let me tell you it was amazing and well worth the money. We would take the kids back there again. They had so much activities for the kids to do and alot of learning facts for them to learn. I even learned some new things about our sea creatures.
We knew that nathan would enjoy it but wasnt sure about Izabella, but we could tell by the way she was smiling, looking and talking that she also really enjoyed being there. I do think it might of been a little over whelming for her because she didnt know which way to look (at times you where in a tunnel and there were water and sea creatures on the side of you, above you and below you.
After we were done at the Sea Life we took the kids over to the Rainforest Cafe where we had lunch. We werent sure how Izzy would be because its a hit or miss with her on going out to eat and behaving. But again she was Awsome, she enjoyed watching the fish swimming in the aquarium next to our table and both kids enjoyed watching the animals moving around and making noises, along with hearing the Thunderstorm.

Graduation Day

Today was one of the saddest days of my life. My little man who has been attending school since he was 16months old, has come to his end of being in the baby school/preschool. He will go onto Kindergarten in the fall. I will also miss his teacher Mrs Meyers she was awsome and knew how to work with kids and never had any compliants about him, like his teacher last year. She would tell me to stopping worring about his behavior, he is a boy and boys are boys, and he is very good in this class.

Now we have to decide if we want to pay the extra money for him to be able to attend full time or if we will just have him go half a day(which is FREE). When I first heard that schools down here go full time Kindergarten, I wasnt really for it, but after thinking about it, Nathan's first 2.5yrs of school was being there anywhere from 8-10hours a day while I would be working and the teachers give the kids down time, so then I said oh it wont be to bad for him, he would actually probably like it more than anything.
But then we get his acceptance letter in the mail saying that he was accepted and if we wanted him to go full time we would have to pay the second half because of budget cuts, and this was away to keep all the extra activities.

So now that I have accepted the idea and started to like it, its not going to happen unless we pay for it and I am affraid of what type of learning he may miss if he doesnt go in the afternoon and only morning, because its not like when I went to school there was an AM and a PM class and they learned the samethings as each other. All the kids go in the morning and then the parents pick up their child in the afternoon if they arent attending the second half. Also now I have to tell him that he may not go all day anymore and he was really looking forward to eat, being able to eat lunch their, getting multiple recesses and such, so its going to break my heart if we decide not to and I have to tell him. Also this is a downside for me to, if he doesnt go full time that affects my schooling big time and I dont know what I am going to do about it. So we shall see what happens in the fall.

The girls in the picture are his girlfriends, except for the little little girl she is one of the sisters' sister. Their names are Aspen(tall girl), Lizzie(ponytail) and Lizzie's sister Emily ( I believe) and then his teacher Mrs. Meyers.

Well we where doing good there for awhile

So we started to break Izabella from the binky where she was only getting it at night, cause that is the only way she would go to sleep and stay asleep through the night. But daddy opened up the drawer, where I had the extras (because I only gave her one and told her the other ones where gone) and she seen them, so now we are back to having the binky for naptimes and bedtimes, which i am okay with as long as she doesnt have it in her mouth during the day and while we are out and about. But now we have to start all over again and I hate that, oh well stuff happens. Right?

Mommy being Crazy and Insane

So on nathan's days off of school I try to find fun and free things to do with the kids. But on this particular day it was way to hot out to take them anywhere outside, so I decided to get my flour and brown sugar out and let the kids go at it in the kitchen with their toy cars and trucks. They had so much fun and the mess was also fun to clean up, let me tell you. It was all over the place other than on the cookiesheets that I had put it on. Izzy found out that she didnt like flour but did like the brown sugar.

I need to come up with better ideas as a parent and not as a teacher cause I am always doing this, but hey the kids had fun and that is all that matters. Right?

Its going to be a long day today.

Today I have 5 kids that I am caring for. Two are toddlers, two are 5(with one having autism) and one is four. I didnt get much sleep last night izabella woke up crying and screaming for her binky and after hearing it for awhile I caved in and gave it to her. This morning when we woke up I told her to put it in the drawer that she is a big girl and she doesnt need it. Now normally when I tell her this she does it but a few moments later she goes backs and gets it, but so far nothing. So maybe we can just at least break her from it during the day and during naptime then eventually break her completely. We will again try tonight to not give it to her and see what happens.
On a brighter note, nathan learned something new today. He learned how to walk on his hands and he took at least a few steps before falling. He was so excited to show me and I was so excited that he has achieved something new in his life. He is getting so big and I cant believe on may 18th he will graduating from preschool and starting Kindergarten, man where does the time go?.

No more Binky

I cant believe that next month my little princess will be 2, man where does the time go? Last night was the first night that we put Izabella to bed without her binky and she did very well, because she went to sleep with no problems, but I think this was because she was sooooo tired from our long day yesterday, that she didnt realize she didnt have it. As I am writing this she is screaming BINKY and trying to push me off the couch to go get one for her, since she cant find any in her normal drawer. So lets see if mommy can make it through this day without caving in and giving her the binky. Xavier was so easy compare to her with coming off the pacifer, she is so attached to them, she needs to go to bed with at least three with her and he was off of the pacifier in a day.

Mothers' Day

Today was sure a hot day in phoenix, but not to hot when you stayed in the shade. The kids kept asking me: mommy what do you want to do today? I had no idea. So I decided I wanted to take the kids to West Gate to go play in the water fountains, so that is what we did. Nathan enjoyed it and izabella on the other hand didnt know what to do and was scared of the fountains.
But before going to West Gate I wanted a 7Eleven Slupee, so my lovely husband drove around town just to get to a 7Eleven slupee for me.
When we got West Gate the kids played in the water for awhile, then we went to lunch and ended there with window shopping.
When we got home nathan started to bbq ribs for dinner, and our friend Amber's husband is in the service and couldnt be home for mother's day so we had her came over with her two kids to have mothers' day dinner with us, it was sure nice.
Even though my mother's day was a very nice one, I wish we could of been in michigan to have dinner with our moms, oh well, we are hoping to see them and everyone else this summer for about a month and a half.
My children got me a day spa gift card, flowers, lunch, made BBQ ribs for dinner,DQ after dinner and then nate and I ended the night by watching the movie "Lovely Bones".

The day/evening with the boys!!!

We have been doing an awards chart with nathan and every week if he gets a certain amount of stars, he gets something small, like candy, rent a dollar movie, ect... But if he acheives a large amount of stars at the end of the 4 weeks he gets to pick a BIG prize, so his big prize was to go out to eat and see How to train a dragon. So that is what we did today, Cheryk came and kidnapped Izabella and took her to a BBQ, while we spent the day into the early evening with little man.
The movie was in 3D and it was very good, it was also great that we got to see it for FREE, because during the movie the sound went out a few times, so we got refunded our money.
At the end of the movie nathan looks at me and says: Mommy I like that we just did this, just with us 3 but mommy I miss Izzy and I want to go home now and play with her, and the next time we do this, we should allow Izzy to come with us. I thought that was so cute that he had missed his sister and wanted to get home to her.

My little stinker of Izabella

Izabella has been doing very well in her big girl bed, no more crying when going to bed or taking a nap. But this afternoon after her nap, she knocked on her door as she normally does to let me know she is up and ready to get out. But this time when I went to go let her out of her room, she had locked her door. So of course I had to get a butter knife to unlock it, and when I opened her door, oh let me just tell you, she had made a BIG mess. When I asked her what had she done, her reply: All done... What a little stinker.

Didnt really think this would be time consuming..

So I have been bugging our friends to give us their reciepes to make homemade chilli rellonos, pinto beans and spanish rice. My girlfriend said Autum it is really time consuming and I said how time consuming is it really? Well let me tell you it is very very time consuming and I wont do it again unless its on the weekend when nathan is home and can help me with the kids. You are cooking all day, literally all day. But man let me tell u it is good, cause everything is homemade and fresh.

The kids enjoyed it because they were my little choppers and thought it was cool to be able to chop things with the chopper.

Its been almost a week now!!!

Tomorrrow will be a week since we changed Izabella's crib into a toddler bed, and I am thinking that she is actually starting to like it now both during the day and night time. I believe the part that she likes the most is that when she doesnt want to sleep or when she first wakes up, she can climb off her bed and play and then when she is tired enough she will climb into bed and go to sleep, or when she is tired of being in her room and playing after waking up, she will knock on her door so that I will open it and she can come out.
I cant believe that she is already in a toddler bed and that in exactly in 9weeks from today she will be two years old, man does the time fly by so quickly and I dont like it.

3rd day of nap and 4th night of bedtime..

Well Sunday april 19th, was the first night Izabella slept in her toddler bed and it was not so easy. Not that she got out of bed, because she didnt, but because she screamed and screamed as if someone was killing her. I believe she was scared cause she kept looking and point to where the crib rail would be and said all gone. I would go in there every ten minutes and until she finally gave in. The nights follow have gotten easier and I believe we are almost to the point that she wont cry anymore when we put her to bed.
Now naptime seems to be much easier and I dont know why but it is. She still crys but not as long or as hard.
Another issue we are having with her, is her biting out of anger, and I am getting tired of it, I have tried everything that I did with nathan and nothing is working. My SIL, Jill, told me something called the sassy spray, which I am going to try because I am desperate to try anything. But if you have any advises please tell me because I am willing to try anything.

Nathan had a bad dream!!!!

Last night Xavier came into our room and as soon as he fell back to sleep, Nathan took him back to his room. Well a few hours later I heard running down the hall to our room as fast as he could as if someone was in his room. When he got to our bed he said mommy I had a REALLY REALLY BAD DREAM.... I said yes climb into the bed. This is the funny part now. So in the morning when we got up, I asked him what was your bad dream about? His reply was: A little monster was jumping on my stomach and no matter what I did, I couldnt get him off of me and he just kept laughing at me as he was jumping on my stomach.. It was sooo very hard for me to not to laugh as he is telling me this, so I thought I would share this with you guys.

Friday April 16Th 2010, the kids and I are at a friends house for the evening while big Nathan is out with his friends. It was 8pm and time to put the kids to bed, so my girlfriend amber set up a playpen for Izzy to go to sleep in. About 5minutes after putting Izabella in the playpen we here a knock, my g/f said it sounds like she is knocking on my bedroom door, so needless to say I went to check on her, and the shit climb out of the playpen. So Amber took WyWy(her son) out of his crib and put him in the playpen and then Izabella went into his crib. Again 5 minutes later she was knocking on his bedroom door, she had climbed out of his crib. So yesterday, Nate transferred her crib into a toddler bed and it wasn't to bad, meaning she didn't get out of it at all. But I had to stay with her until she fell asleep, because she seemed to be scared not to have the rail there. When I wasn't in the room with her she would be sitting up on the bed crying as to be scared. Well it is now the next day and its nap time and she is having trouble going to sleep, all she is doing is crying and crying. I feel mean because instead of being in there with her I am writing about the experience, but I feel that she has to get use to it or I wont ever be able to leave her by herself until she falls asleep and that is not cool.
But I think I should get off now because it sounds like she is going to break down my door, so I will go cuddle with her for a few minutes and then try the process of leaving her alone again.

Kids first time bowling.

Today we took the kids bowling with my Gold Canyon team. They had so much fun bowling. Xavier even got a strict during one of the games, wish we had the camera ready cause we would of taken a picture and didnt think of taken a picture of the score board until it was to late. Izzy even seemed to be having fun and when we were leaving both kids got upset that we had to leave and not bowl anymore.
