So today we are eating dinner and Xavier says; You know what mom, when I get older and have my own kids, I am never going to tell them "NO" and I will buy them everything they want and take them wherever they want. Me: So you are? Xavier: Yup. Me: Nathan can you name some of the place that you have been to? Xavier: Yes, Grand Canyon, Flagstaff, Sedona, California, Colorado, the North Pole, Pennsylvania, on the Polar Express, to a dinosaur place, camping, and I dont remember what else. Me: Okay and what expensive toys do you have? Nathan: WII, DS, and gameboy, but you dont allow me to play with them all the time and I will allow my kids to do it. Me: Nathan do you realize that you have probably seen more and done more than most kids your age? Also a lot of kids your age dont have the game systems you have, so you are lucky on that. Do you know why most of the time we say "NO"? Nathan: Ya because I have not earned it or I can hurt myself and its better for us to be playing outside or around the house instead on the Wii and such, so that is why we dont get to play often. Me: So why would you give your child everything they want or never say "no"? Nathan: Because I am young & that is what I want to happen now, so I am sure my kids will want the samething, but it just may change when I am a daddy and you are a grandma. Me: LOL, first of all we are not talking about me being a GRANDMA, 2nd when I become a grandma, I am going to spoil those babies crazy like you and Izzy get spoiled. Nathan, oh no you arent and I thought you said we are not going to talk about you being a grandma. LOL

So we are driving and the song Country Girl (shake it for me) comes on and Izzy loves this song so I turned it up louder (because she usually asks me to). Well that wasnt the case this time. Izzy: Mommy please turn it down, I am on the phone (her play phone)with MiMi (my mom). So I turned it down then I hear: Oh WHATEVER BYE, and she hung up her phone. I guess she didnt like what MiMi (Susan Ososky Todd) had to say. LOL She asked MiMi if she had to work tomorrow and I am guessing MiMi said "yes".
