My little stinker of Izabella

Izabella has been doing very well in her big girl bed, no more crying when going to bed or taking a nap. But this afternoon after her nap, she knocked on her door as she normally does to let me know she is up and ready to get out. But this time when I went to go let her out of her room, she had locked her door. So of course I had to get a butter knife to unlock it, and when I opened her door, oh let me just tell you, she had made a BIG mess. When I asked her what had she done, her reply: All done... What a little stinker.

Didnt really think this would be time consuming..

So I have been bugging our friends to give us their reciepes to make homemade chilli rellonos, pinto beans and spanish rice. My girlfriend said Autum it is really time consuming and I said how time consuming is it really? Well let me tell you it is very very time consuming and I wont do it again unless its on the weekend when nathan is home and can help me with the kids. You are cooking all day, literally all day. But man let me tell u it is good, cause everything is homemade and fresh.

The kids enjoyed it because they were my little choppers and thought it was cool to be able to chop things with the chopper.

Its been almost a week now!!!

Tomorrrow will be a week since we changed Izabella's crib into a toddler bed, and I am thinking that she is actually starting to like it now both during the day and night time. I believe the part that she likes the most is that when she doesnt want to sleep or when she first wakes up, she can climb off her bed and play and then when she is tired enough she will climb into bed and go to sleep, or when she is tired of being in her room and playing after waking up, she will knock on her door so that I will open it and she can come out.
I cant believe that she is already in a toddler bed and that in exactly in 9weeks from today she will be two years old, man does the time fly by so quickly and I dont like it.

3rd day of nap and 4th night of bedtime..

Well Sunday april 19th, was the first night Izabella slept in her toddler bed and it was not so easy. Not that she got out of bed, because she didnt, but because she screamed and screamed as if someone was killing her. I believe she was scared cause she kept looking and point to where the crib rail would be and said all gone. I would go in there every ten minutes and until she finally gave in. The nights follow have gotten easier and I believe we are almost to the point that she wont cry anymore when we put her to bed.
Now naptime seems to be much easier and I dont know why but it is. She still crys but not as long or as hard.
Another issue we are having with her, is her biting out of anger, and I am getting tired of it, I have tried everything that I did with nathan and nothing is working. My SIL, Jill, told me something called the sassy spray, which I am going to try because I am desperate to try anything. But if you have any advises please tell me because I am willing to try anything.

Nathan had a bad dream!!!!

Last night Xavier came into our room and as soon as he fell back to sleep, Nathan took him back to his room. Well a few hours later I heard running down the hall to our room as fast as he could as if someone was in his room. When he got to our bed he said mommy I had a REALLY REALLY BAD DREAM.... I said yes climb into the bed. This is the funny part now. So in the morning when we got up, I asked him what was your bad dream about? His reply was: A little monster was jumping on my stomach and no matter what I did, I couldnt get him off of me and he just kept laughing at me as he was jumping on my stomach.. It was sooo very hard for me to not to laugh as he is telling me this, so I thought I would share this with you guys.

Well its already that time....

Friday April 16Th 2010, the kids and I are at a friends house for the evening while big Nathan is out with his friends. It was 8pm and time to put the kids to bed, so my girlfriend amber set up a playpen for Izzy to go to sleep in. About 5minutes after putting Izabella in the playpen we here a knock, my g/f said it sounds like she is knocking on my bedroom door, so needless to say I went to check on her, and the shit climb out of the playpen. So Amber took WyWy(her son) out of his crib and put him in the playpen and then Izabella went into his crib. Again 5 minutes later she was knocking on his bedroom door, she had climbed out of his crib. So yesterday, Nate transferred her crib into a toddler bed and it wasn't to bad, meaning she didn't get out of it at all. But I had to stay with her until she fell asleep, because she seemed to be scared not to have the rail there. When I wasn't in the room with her she would be sitting up on the bed crying as to be scared. Well it is now the next day and its nap time and she is having trouble going to sleep, all she is doing is crying and crying. I feel mean because instead of being in there with her I am writing about the experience, but I feel that she has to get use to it or I wont ever be able to leave her by herself until she falls asleep and that is not cool.
But I think I should get off now because it sounds like she is going to break down my door, so I will go cuddle with her for a few minutes and then try the process of leaving her alone again.

Kids first time bowling.

Today we took the kids bowling with my Gold Canyon team. They had so much fun bowling. Xavier even got a strict during one of the games, wish we had the camera ready cause we would of taken a picture and didnt think of taken a picture of the score board until it was to late. Izzy even seemed to be having fun and when we were leaving both kids got upset that we had to leave and not bowl anymore.

Wow its almost been 2yrs

Three yrs ago today, was when our lovely little princess started to give us HELL from inside the womb. Today was the start of going into premature labor 1-2x a week until 38 weeks. I knew from day one that she was a girl because she has not been nothing but trouble from conception on. Even after she was born, I dont know how we did it, cause she drove us CRAZY, to the point that we got the baby machine fixed to not have anymore when she was three months old. Up until this week she has been a very very high maintance girl, but surprisingly she has been really really good the last few weeks. She has been happy, no major meltdowns and very goofy. SO I pray that she just went through the terrible twos very very very early and she is going to start being a good little princess. I can dream, right???

Nathan's wish comes True

My little man's dream has always been to drive in a big truck, like lighten mcqueen and today his wish came true. Not only did his wish come true but I also got to spend a little time with my uncle, wish I havent done in years and it was sure nice.
